Jun 23, 2026 POWER-Z

The ChargerLAB POWER-Z KM003C tester has gained another compatibility enhancement. The latest firmware now supports the WCH CH253 chip, allowing cables equipped with this IC to be quickly identified through the device's E-Marker reading function, with chip-related information displayed clearly and intuitively.

The CH253 chip has passed USB-IF PD3.1 certification (TID 11163). It integrates a VCONN diode, Ra resistor, and high-voltage LDO internally, eliminating the need for external components and making it suitable for a wide range of USB Type-C cable applications.

After upgrading the POWER-Z KM003C to the latest firmware version, users can test and read CH253 chip information directly through the device.
